Hello, It was in 1995 that I started Wall Street Winners. I’ve never told the story how it happened plus we are having a very very rare special sale on subscriptions. Kephart Communications Inc (KCI) was one of the original newsletter publishers back around 1970. Prior to that, there were only a few newsletters being published, Joe Granville, James Dines, and Harry Schultz. That was the whole industry. But KCI started publishing the Inflation Survival Letter and it became a huge hit. The original editor was a gentleman by the name of Jim McKeever and he steered it to, I believe, over 100,000 subscribers which was huge then and even today. Nobody had seen anything like it. This was the first big newsletter to capitalize on the legalization of gold and the increasing inflation in the early 1970’s. Don’t forget that inflation was so bad, Richard Nixon imposed wage and price controls! After a couple of years editing the Inflation Survival Letter, MeKeever left to start his own publication, the McKeever Strategy Letter, and he moved to Vancouver BC where I was living. I got a job with him as Research Director in about 1971. I worked with him for a couple of years and then he moved to Oregon and I no longer worked for him. But that was my start in the investment newsletter business. Flash forward to 1980 and I started writing newsletter for brokerage houses and banks. I don’t remember how I did it but I connected with KCI about 1994. They had a newsletter called Growth Stock Outlook with a good track record but the editor wanted to leave. So KCI hired me to take over for him and we changed the name to Wall Street Winners when I started writing it at the beginning of 1995. I wrote it for five years. The performance was very interesting. Basically, I was in the top 25% of performance every year but one that I wrote the publication. But I found out something very interesting. The newsletter that is number one in one year is usually near the bottom the next year. They bet it all on one stock or sector but don’t know when to get out so they plunge to the bottom. So at the end of two years of being in the top 25% for two years in a row, I was now in the top 10% for two years of performance. At the end of three years, I was now number one and I stayed the number one newsletter for profitability until I ended the publication. All of those years I was in the top 25% except one year where I was number one and then number one the following year. Hardly anyone crushes the competition for two years in a row plus has a cumulative track record of being number one for five years. But I did it. The publication that tracks all this is Hulbert’s Financial Digest. I then took some years off doing the publication because, frankly, I retired and lived in other countries and traveled a lot. I was tired of work hard for decades. But then, a few years ago, I started it back up but as a weekly video briefing rather than a written publication. I felt it would be more valuable for readers that way. But I wanted to also maintain that stellar track record and we have. So it is now 26 years since I first wrote Wall Street Winners and we decided to have a modest sale on the publication. The price is normally $67 per month. We don’t sell annual subscriptions, just the monthly. But are going to let you subscribe for $497 for an annual (one time) subscription, far below the price of $804 if you buy monthly. You get: - About 50 weekly video briefings every Sunday night with: - Specific actionable trades in stocks and ETFs. - Unique analysis of the market using unique and proprietary indicators developed over the last 35 years. This is not the usual boring analysis but deep and exciting analysis using unique perspectives that tell you what is really going on. - Special reports throughout the year guiding you to big themes where big money can be made. You need to subscribe to profit and protect yourself from the coming volatility in the markets. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
