[WBUR]( The WBUR Weekender April 10, 2021 ð Weekend Weather: Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Sunday there's a chance of showers. Cloudy with a high near 59. Good morning Boston, How Massachusetts residents sign up for vaccine appointments has evolved over the past few months, but it can still at times feel like a ["Hunger Games"]( battle for shots – and we're all just hoping the odds are in our favor. But what if we weren't fighting each other for coveted spots and instead helping each other out? One in five adults across the state are fully vaccinated and over 2.5 million people have received their first shots. That means a great portion of the population has wisdom and insights to share on how they landed their appointment. If you are one of these vaccine victors, [we want your best advice]( on booking appointments to help those still searching and those who become eligible on April 19. I became eligible on Monday and feel so grateful to have an appointment on the books for next week. Here's my tip: Follow [@vaccinetime]( on Twitter. It's a bot that will send a tweet as soon as appointment times are added to vaccine locations, from clinics to pharmacies. Turn on notifications so you get an alert to your phone whenever this account sends a tweet and you'll be among the first to know about the availability. Hope this helps! — Meagan McGinnes
