[WBUR]( The WBUR Weekender January 23, 2021 🌞 Weekend Weather: Today it's sunny, with a high near 28. Sunday is sunny, with a high near 31. Good morning, A change in leadership for the country. A slew of new executive orders and policy changes. A raging pandemic. Remaining tension from a country still divided. Hope for a more united future. It certainly was a historic week, and now with Inauguration Day over, the U.S. has a lot of serious issues to tackle. But today I want to talk about a lighter story that set the internet (and Twitter-verse) afire on Wednesday: [How Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, yet again, became the star of a viral meme](. This story is a perfect reminder that Twitter doesn't have to just be a place to pick a fight; it can bring joy and levity. I'm still laughing at all the creative memes people are coming up with. Plus, I love [this profile]( of the Vermont woman who made his mittens. What does Bernie have to say about all of the attention? ["I was just sitting there trying to keep warm."]( P.S.– If you, like me, aren't over the hilarity of this meme, you can drop Bernie at any location you wish, [thanks to this website](. You're welcome and enjoy. — Meagan McGinnes
