We're (slowly) starting to see the effects of social distancing. Here are the must-know headlines on the local coronavirus outbreak from the past 24 hours:
- We're not out of the woods yet, but in the last two weeks the number of Massachusetts patients in the hospital for COVID-19 has seen a [slight but steady drop](. The percentage of people testing positive has also fallen in recent days.
- A Walmart in Worcester could reopen today following an outbreak of the coronavirus among the store's employees. The city [shut down the store]( last week, and 81 employees have since tested positive for the virus.
- Boston City Councilor Michelle Wu is among those who have [tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies]( — despite never knowing that they had the disease.
- More local coronavirus numbers: The state reported 86 new deaths Monday due to COVID-19, bringing the statewide death toll to 4,090. State officials also reported 1,000 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 69,087. ([See our charts and map for a more detailed breakdown](
