Weâre talking about her new single, âStarburned and Unkissed,â a soaring, bruised track on the carefully curated soundtrack for [I Saw the TV Glow,]( in theaters this weekend. The A24 film is [writer-director Jane Schoenbrun](âs second, and much like their debut, Weâre All Going to the Worldâs Fair, itâs an eerie exploration of modern alienation, transgender identity, and the way we can lose ourselves in the seductive glimmer of our screens.
