{NAME}, when I flipped a Republican-held congressional seat, it’s fair to say I broke the mold in a few ways. Not just because I became Kansas’s only federally elected Democratic representative. But also because I’m an LGBTQ+ Native American woman and former MMA fighter who was raised by a single Army mom and worked multiple jobs to pay my own way through school.
