The National Republican Congressional Committee and Republican candidates are running ads and attack

The National Republican Congressional Committee and Republican candidates are running ads and attacks on social media, calling Democratic Veterans terrorists. [VoteVets] {NAME}, the Republican Party plays with Military pay and benefits on a regular basis every time they tease a government shutdown. They held up the promotions of HUNDREDS of our most senior officers over a political stunt trying to limit access to abortion. They blocked support for our international allies for MONTHS. They REFUSED to come to the table and provide care for Veterans suffering from toxic exposures. And who fixed every single one of these problems? The Democrats. Democrats back the GOP into a corner and get the government funded every time they shut it down. Democrats took the fight to Tuberville and his abortion warriors and got our officers confirmed. Democrats forced the MAGA-right to pass critical aid for our allies who are under attack. Democrats got the PACT Act passed after decades of fighting. VoteVets played a critical role in each of these fights. We’re often the only organization on the left playing any role in these fights, to be honest with you. And another fight is emerging right now. The National Republican Congressional Committee and Republican candidates are running ads and attacks on social media, calling Democratic Veterans terrorists. They’re saying Veterans who put their lives on the line, in uniform, to defend America, support terrorism. The stench of hypocrisy here is almost too much to stand. It’s false. It’s insulting. It’s dishonorable. But it’s entirely representative of the MAGA GOP in 2024. We’re going to need all hands on deck to start fighting against these attacks. Can we count on you in the fights ahead?
