And even in 2024 they keep making it harder for people to participate in their fundamental right to vote. Eight states have enacted stricter voter ID laws since the 2020 election, disproportionately deterring marginalized communities from participating in our elections process. Moreover, with 1 in 6 voters residing in anticipated battleground states, the outcome of this year’s elections depends on the participation of every eligible voter. Vote to Live has been working since 2016 to ensure that every Black voter is registered and ready to vote. But we cannot do it alone. We need your help starting right now to raise the resources we need to ensure we show up in force at the polls in November. We need to raise $7,500 by the end of the week. VOTE TO LIVE is our commitment to register as many eligible voters as possible: first-timers, young people, and folks who have been unknowingly purged.
