Let’s make sure they can vote {NAME}, Tomorrow, hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvanians will vote in primary elections. Pennsylvania has a confusing voter ID law that requires voters to show an ID if it’s their first time voting at that precinct location. That means that first-time voters, along with long-time voters who may have moved or whose polling place has changed, will need to show ID — and they may not realize that until it’s too late. VoteRiders staffed up our Helpline and Chatbot to field the increase in voter questions we’re anticipating in Pennsylvania tomorrow. We’ve also been conducting voter outreach for months, both in-person and online, to get that information to voters ahead of the primary elections. It’s critical these voters know about the voter ID laws where they live, but the kind of outreach needed takes a lot of time, staff, and money. [You can help VoteRiders make a difference for voters tomorrow — and every day leading up to November 5.]( [MAKE A GENEROUS GIFT TO VOTERIDERS]( VoteRiders spent months reaching out to Pennsylvania voters with texts, letters, digital ads, and community organizing. Tomorrow, we’ll be on hand to answer questions throughout the day as voters and poll workers reach out to understand and clarify the voter ID rules in Pennsylvania. There will still be thousands of voters who are either turned away for not having the correct ID, or who will just stay home rather out of confusion or fear of being shamed and embarrassed at their polling place. It’s critical we reach those voters before November 5 and make sure they have the information and free ID help they need so they’re ready and confident to vote. Your support makes a difference. [Make a donation today and we will put it directly to use helping voters in Pennsylvania and across the country.]( Roy Speckhardt Development Director VoteRiders [DONATE]( VoteRiders is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan nonprofit organization registered in the US under EIN 45-5081831.
