Hi {NAME}, I’d love for you to meet my family. [Family picture of Wes and his grandmother Edna, his wife Yuvonka, and his three sons, Ryan, Justin, and Kyler.]( Here is my grandmother Edna, my wife Yuvonka, and my three sons, Ryan, Justin, and Kyler. Their commitment to service and hard work is beyond description, but let me try to fill you in. My grandmother Edna is an incredible source of inspiration for me — from her wisdom, prayers, and jokes to her life's lessons. She reminded me this is about our country — our freedom, rights, and ability to hope. I'm ready to finish strong and win this race. My wife Yuvonka is my rock. She makes sure our family is on time to church and is excelling in her role as Director of GCS Pre-K Center. She was selected to represent Greene County as a Rootle Ambassador for PBS North Carolina. My eldest son Ryan is 24 years old; he’s an incredible son, big brother, and God-fearing young man. I'm so proud of the amazing person he has become. My middle son Justin won the 2022 Mr. Jabberwock scholarship pageant. We are so grateful for the many generous contributions, words of encouragement along the way, and his honor to wear the crown. My youngest son Kyler is my inspiration to fight hard for more opportunities for him and many others like him to be able to live, raise a family, and stay here in eastern NC. My family has called North Carolina home for six generations; I want to ensure they can stay here for the rest of their lives and grow our beautiful family. I’m running because the East is my home, and we need leaders ready to deliver on the critical needs of our rural counties. [Our team, including my family and many volunteers across NC-01, are working hard. With less than 80 days to go in a crucial election in a fight for the future of eastern NC and rural America, we need your support.
