The outlook for November is good, actually. {NAME},  I’ve been looking over the data in the first two Republican presidential primary contests – and despite winning both Iowa and New Hampshire, Trump has lost a LOT of ground.  In 2020, Trump won the Iowa caucus by 97% and the New Hampshire primary by 86%.  This year, he barely cracked 50% in Iowa and came in around 54% in New Hampshire. That’s a massive drop in support for the guy everyone has been telling us is “the leader of the Republican Party” for the last 8 years.  What does that mean for us here in Arkansas, a state that is all but certain to vote for the Republican presidential nominee this November?  A few things:  1. Donald Trump is not that popular. The numbers speak for themselves. His crowds at rallies are smaller. His share of the vote is shrinking. There aren’t even as many news articles talking about him – and when there are, they’re talking about his 91 felony charges or the latest lawsuit he lost.  2. Candidates who act like Trump are even LESS popular. If you need any proof of this, just look at how quickly the Ron DeSantis campaign collapsed. We’ve seen since 2018, 2020, and 2022, Trump-lite candidates up and down the ballot overwhelmingly lose – especially when there are strong Democratic candidates on the other side of the ticket.  3. Republicans are in disarray. If Donald Trump is their leader, it’s no wonder they’re so disorganized. House Republicans spend more time trying to sabotage one another than plotting against their Democratic colleagues.  These are not the conditions that will inspire a mass wave of enthusiasm to turn out new voters for the GOP.  But you know who IS inspiring voters in Arkansas? Vortex, our volunteers and supporters – and the Democratic candidates YOU helped us recruit.  Arkansas has more Democrats on the ballot this year than anytime in the last decade. We’ve got training programs starting soon for their campaign staff and volunteers.  [With so many pieces in motion, we can’t let our fundraising slip, and we’re still about $7,885 short of our January target. Can you pitch in $25, $50 or more today to make sure our training program is fully funded?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Express Donate: $25 >>   Â]( [Express Donate: $50 >>   Â]( [Express Donate: $100 >>  Â]( [Express Donate: $250 >>  Â]( [Express Donate: $500 >>  Â]( [Donate Other Amount: >> Â]( I was recently in Iowa for the caucus, and I talked to a lot of GOP voters around the country. Many Republicans are dead set against voting for Trump.  We have an unprecedented opening to bring some of those voters to our side this November. Vortex is organizing in ALL 75 counties across the state to turn out the vote not only for our four candidates, but for Democrats up and down the ballot.  We’ve got everything we need to win in November if we stay the course.  Thank you so much for following Vortex’s work and contributing in any way you can. Whether you’re following and sharing our message on social media, volunteering, donating, or even just talking to your friends and neighbors – all of it makes an impact, and we appreciate you.  More soon,  Robb [Support Vortex today >>](      Vortex PAC is a new grassroots movement to transform Arkansas politics away from the far-right.
