Bombshell new report reveals crimes from the White House. But NOT the Biden White House. {NAME},  House Republicans are desperate to find some corrupt dealings from an American president – and Democrats just found some.  Democrats on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee have concluded their multiyear investigation into Donald Trump’s financial dealings.  The new report reveals that Trump, through his businesses, accepted at least $7.8 million in unconstitutional foreign payments from at least 20 countries.  The payments violate the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution, which states that presidents are not allowed to accept payments or gifts from foreign governments without prior approval from Congress.  When George W. Bush received a puppy as a gift during a trip to Bulgaria, the administration found it a home. When President Obama was awarded $1.4 million with his Nobel Peace Prize, he disbursed the cash between 10 charities.  Trump, on the other hand, kept every single dollar and gift he received from a foreign nation.  While House Republicans – including our Arkansas representatives – are leading an impeachment inquiry into President Biden with ZERO evidence, their colleagues continue to unearth crimes committed by Donald Trump while he was in office.  As if that isn’t already enough to condemn Republicans, the report states that some of those payments were made while the countries signing the checks were pushing Congress and the White House towards passing their own foreign policy goals. [A graphic featuring a paragraph from the news outlet Roll Call that quotes from the report. It reads “‘These countries spent — often lavishly — on apartments and hotel stays at Donald Trump’s properties — personally enriching President Trump while he made foreign policy decisions connected to their policy agendas with far-reaching ramifications for the United States,’ the report states.”]( The four seat-fillers representing Arkansas and their GOP colleagues have railed against President Biden for alleged foreign business dealings after his time as vice president. But what would they do if Trump were still in office and this report came out?  Nothing – and Republicans are still going to pursue impeaching Biden and make Trump their 2024 nominee.  If he wins, it’s up to us to hold him accountable and BLOCK his anti-democratic agenda.  [Vortex is sending four bold Democrats to take on Arkansas’s Trump-supporting House Republicans.
