{NAME} –  Kevin McCarthy was just THROWN OUT of his position as Speaker of the House.  Never before in American history has a Speaker been removed. Leave it to McCarthy, who required 15 rounds of voting to get the job in the first place.  When Republicans tell you who they are, believe them. Arkansas Rep. Steve Womack told us they don’t know how to govern. And today, while Womack presided over the debate to oust McCarthy, they proved it.  Before you feel too sorry for him, remember that Kevin McCarthy voted to overturn the 2020 election, stood by the January 6 insurrectionists, and amplified every MAGA conspiracy – including their bogus impeachment inquiry into President Biden. Despite all that, he still wasn’t extreme enough for the radical right-wing GOP, and today, members of his own party cast the deciding votes to throw him out.  Now, let’s send four more home.  It’s high time we get government working again, and the GOP is showing us time and time and again that they can’t get the job done. The four Republican reps from Arkansas are an integral part of that fray – voting in line with MAGA policies over 90% of the time – and they have got to go.  [The American people don’t have time for Republican meltdowns like today. Pitch in right now to support Vortex’s efforts to elect strong Democrats and take back the House majority next year!](  Let’s end the chaos for good.  Robb Ryerse [Contribute to VortexÂ](      Vortex PAC is a new grassroots movement to transform Arkansas politics away from the far-right.
