And how far will this go? {NAME},  Just like her old boss Donald Trump, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders doesn’t believe in transparency, and she doesn’t think she should be held accountable for her actions.   She just signed a stripped-down version of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which has protected Arkansans’ right to access public records for decades.  And as history has shown us time and again, what happens in Arkansas doesn’t stay in Arkansas.  Just like her assault on public education, her demonization of LGBTQ Arkansans, and her attacks on equality and inclusion for people of color, Sarah’s newfound loathing for political accountability is sure to spread to other states and onto the national stage.  We’ve already seen this at work with the four men representing Arkansas in the U.S. House: ALL FOUR voted against impeaching Donald Trump TWICE – ignoring a mountain of evidence about his abuses of power and attempts to overturn the 2020 election.  They also sided with extremist, MAGA Republicans condemning the House investigation into Donald Trump’s involvement with the January 6th insurrection.  Politicians who protect each other’s secrets at the expense of the people they’re supposed to serve cannot be trusted to uphold our constitution.
