If Republicans get their way, yes. {NAME} – MAGA Republicans are fully in control of the agenda in Kevin McCarthy’s House, where they are pushing for steep cuts to services that the most vulnerable people in our country depend on to live.  If the House Freedom Caucus gets their way:  Seniors will face the largest cuts to Medicare benefits in decades, losing the $35 cap on insulin and the $2,000 out-of-pocket cap on prescription drug prices that make life-saving medications affordable for older Americans.  People with disabilities will have to wait months for benefits due to staff cuts and office closures for Social Security and Medicare.  Low-income seniors will lose affordable housing and healthy meals thanks to drastic cuts to Housing Choice Vouchers and Meals on Wheels services.  These are just a few examples of how America’s seniors will be hard hit if Republicans get their way on the budget fight.  Meanwhile, what do any of our representatives from Arkansas have to say?  Not much, it turns out.  All four of the members representing Arkansas in the U.S. House are on record supporting cuts to essential programs that keep our senior citizens out of poverty. But now, where the rubber meets the road and it’s clear how many Arkansans will be hurt by this extreme agenda, they are silent.  We need representatives who will speak up against radical cuts and protect our seniors.  [Vortex is recruiting, training, and supporting four BOLD Democrats to flip ALL FOUR seats here in Arkansas. The GOP budget plan pushes a cruel 22% across-the-board cut to services for veterans, students with disabilities, low-income families, and worker safety – just to name a few.  If that sounds heartless and cruel, well...it is. The cruelty is the point.  [Pitch in $25 now to elect four bold Democrats who will stand up to this radical agenda and fight for the working families of Arkansas.](  Let’s go!  Robb Ryerse Executive Director, Vortex   P.S.
