{NAME},  I'm appalled by the recently surfaced comments made by J.D. Vance targeting educators without children, as well as Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders' recent remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris. These are just the latest in a seemingly endless stream of offensive statements demeaning women and individuals without children.  Throughout my career as an educator, I've seen firsthand how teachers and colleagues from all walks of life enrich our students' experiences.  The dedication of educators - parents or not - to our future generations is unwavering. Period.  At a forum in 2021, Vance specifically singled out Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, saying:  “So many of the leaders of the left—and I hate to be so personal about this—but they're people without kids, trying to brainwash the minds of our children.”  He went further, adding, “If she wants to brainwash and destroy the minds of children, she should have some of her own and leave ours the hell alone.”'  I'm both furious and heartbroken at these words.  This divisive rhetoric doesn't stop with Vance. Our own governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, made horrible comments about Vice President Harris not having biological children at a Trump rally in Flint, Michigan, just yesterday.  She insinuated that Harris couldn't understand family values or relate to parents, saying, "My kids keep me humble. Unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn't have anything keeping her humble." [A GIF of Sarah Huckabee Sanders speaking at a Trump rally in Flint, Michigan, where she says, ]( These comments shocked even former Trump staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin, who said on The View, "I watched this clip and my jaw dropped."  Let me be crystal clear: J.D. Vance and Sarah Huckabee Sanders don't get to define the experiences of all Americans just because they happen to have biological children. Their words are hurtful, exclusionary, and frankly un-American.  These attacks are attempts to divide us and distract us from the real issues facing Arkansas families. We can't let them succeed.  That's why Vortex PAC is working tirelessly to flip all four of Arkansas' House seats blue. We need representatives who will fight for all Arkansans - not just those who fit a narrow definition of family.  [Will you chip in $25, $50, $75, $100, or whatever is in your budget today to help us combat this harmful rhetoric and elect leaders who truly represent our values? This is NOT what Arkansas is about, and today, we all have to stand up and say so.](  Your support will help us elect candidates in all four districts who understand that family comes in ALL forms. Together, we can build a more inclusive Arkansas where everyone's voice is heard, and where everyone belongs.  With gratitude,  Dr. Vonnice J.
