To do list today: Check your voter registration

{NAME},  Today is National Voter Registration Day, and the very thought of that terrifies the GOP.  Those of you who followed my campaign for governor know what I always say – Arkansas isn’t a red state. It’s a non-voting state.  The TRUTH is that if every Democratic leaning voter (and a whole lot of frustrated, un-represented Republicans) turned out to vote for a candidate who actually represented their interests, Arkansas would be as blue as the ocean.  That's why our governor and election officials have unleashed an all-out assault on our voting rights.  Strict new photo ID laws. Shorter absentee voting windows. Aggressive voter roll purges. Not to mention the ongoing legal battle over the absurd new “wet signature” rule that makes it harder for people to register to vote in the modern world.  Arkansas ranks dead last in the nation in voter turnout, not because voters are too lazy or don’t care – but because they’ve deliberately made it harder to vote. Even if you think you're good, double-check. These purges are ruthless. Tell 5 friends to check their status too.
