Trump disrespects our troops AGAIN. Let's fight back, Arkansas.

{NAME},  As the proud husband of a combat veteran, I'm outraged by the continuous disrespect Trump and his MAGA colleagues have shown toward those who've served our country.  This week, we learned that an Arlington National Cemetery employee who tried to enforce rules prohibiting political activities at the cemetery “was abruptly pushed aside” by Trump campaign staffers, according to a U.S. Army statement. [ A screenshot of an NPR article titled, “Army says Arlington National Cemetary worker was ‘pushed aside’ by Trump aides.’ A photo of the cemetery appears in the screenshot with the caption, “Graves with flags for Memorial Day are seen in Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA., on May 27.]( Despite the fact that they clearly knew about the rules against campaign events and unauthorized filming, Trump's team later posted a video on TikTok showing the former president at the cemetery - which violates federal law against using military cemeteries for campaigning purposes.  In the video, Trump criticized President Biden and Vice President Harris – all part of a plot to present this stunt as a pre-planned memorial service so they could falsely accuse Harris of refusing to attend.  Again, this disgraceful incident is part of a pattern of disrespect toward our troops and veterans from Trump and his MAGA allies, including every member of the Arkansas congressional delegation.  Like Trump, the four-seat warmers Arkansas has sent to the House of Representatives have repeatedly used veterans as props while stabbing them in the back. Just two years ago, all four voted against the PACT Act - the landmark legislation guaranteeing cancer treatments and death benefits to veterans exposed to toxic burn pits and other environmental hazards during their service.  Arkansas deserves better. Our veterans deserve better.
