They silenced 100,000 Arkansans. We won't be quiet

{NAME},  Last week, the Arkansas Supreme Court dealt a devastating blow to democracy in our state. They upheld the rejection of over 100,000 signatures from Arkansans who simply wanted the right to vote on their own reproductive healthcare.  Fighting this isn't only about a single issue. It's about who decides the future of Arkansas - the people or a handful of extremist politicians. [A screenshot of a tweet by Sarah Huckabee Sanders bragging about packing the state supreme court with extreme right-wing judges and helping to block an abortion rights amendment from gaining ballot access.]( This particular issue is extremely urgent because our state has some of the most restrictive reproductive laws in the nation, with no exceptions for rape or incest.  Doctors who perform emergency abortions that politicians and right-wing judges deem “inappropriate” face up to 10 years in prison. It’s little wonder we have one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the country.  This isn't about a "right to life" - it's about control.  Ever since Roe was repealed, states like Arkansas have gone to work imposing harsh abortion bans that put women’s lives at risk.
