Arkansas, our moment is NOW

It’s a time for infinite hope. Can you feel it? {NAME},  Just a few days ago, the political landscape looked bleak. Many of us were worried – even terrified – about what the future might hold.  But now? There's an incredible energy in the air I haven't felt since Barack Obama's historic campaign in 2008. Vice President Kamala Harris stepping up to lead the Democratic ticket has ignited a spark of hope that's rapidly spreading into a wildfire of enthusiasm and momentum. Both VP Harris and my wife, Dr. Jerrilyn Jones, are Howard University Bisons so we are extra excited.  In a 48 hour period, the Harris campaign has raised an astounding $126 million and counting. Since Sunday afternoon, Team Harris has added 74,000 new recurring donors, with two-thirds of these recurring donors signing up for weekly donation.]( There has been a 700% increase in daily new voter registrations across the country.  And here in Arkansas, we're seeing an outpouring of support that tells me one thing: This could be the start of a brand new Arkansas. If we do the work, this WILL be the start of a brand new Arkansas. The excitement is palpable. People who have grown cynical are suddenly energized. Folks who felt hopeless are now filled with infinite hope.
