We still have our work cut out for us. {NAME},  The verdict came down last week. The former guy is guilty – 34 times.  Since then, the Trump campaign reported raising $141 million in May, over a third of it after the verdict came down.  But this isn’t about fundraising.  I want to talk about what this verdict changed about the election and what we can expect.  The short answer? Not much.  A recent analysis of polling from investigative journalist Ken Klippensten found that while most Americans – including 22% of Republicans – believe Trump is guilty, they don’t think the crime is that serious.  And while 10% of Republican voters say they are less likely to vote for Trump now that he’s been convicted, Klippenstein reports his base is more motivated than ever.  What is most telling to me is the fact that most Americans say the verdict doesn’t change their vote at all (for or against Trump).  I’m a scientist. I believe in data. The data says we have our work cut out for us.  The four seat-warmers we have representing Arkansas in Congress right now are set up to ride Trump’s coattails right back into office unless we can mobilize Democratic turnout in all 75 counties.  Vortex is working to do just that. We’re currently developing a volunteer recruitment and training program to get our own base fired up for Rodney, Marcus, Caitlin, and Risie.  We need your sustaining support to fund that program. Will you sign up for a monthly recurring donation of $25, $50, or more? [ Yes! I'll give monthlyÂ]( [  I can donate today Â]( We started Vortex because we know that big change is possible in Arkansas, because we know it’s going to take time and consistent organizing.  Republicans in Congress have come right out and said that everything they do is in service of getting Donald Trump re-elected. We can’t take for granted that this verdict will swing the election in our favor.  Your monthly contributions help sustain our work so we can build up a groundswell of support among voters ready to stand up to Trumpism and defend our democracy.  Thank you for believing and for being part of that effort.  Dr. Chris Jones [Support Vortex PAC >>](      Vortex PAC is a new grassroots movement to transform Arkansas politics away from the far-right.
