The GOP war against Social Security is here

{NAME} – Republicans are planning to deal a major blow to Americans’ health and golden years.  One year ago this week, we warned you that Republican lawmakers were threatening to cripple our benefits – and it’s happening NOW.  The House majority just released a new budget that will pull $1.5 TRILLION from Social Security and an additional $1.2 TRILLION from Medicare.  Republican lawmakers claim these cuts – combined with raising the retirement age to 69 – are the best way to fund the benefits we’ve been paying into our entire lives so we can retire with dignity and security.  As always, they’re claiming to do one thing while doing the exact opposite – defunding the most impactful programs for American families.  Vortex is working to replace ALL FOUR of Arkansas’s Republican representatives this year with bold Democrats who will fight to protect Social Security, Medicare, and every other program that helps working-class Americans.  [Together, our candidates could give Democrats the House majority even if every other seat in the country doesn’t flip this November. At the end of the day on January 1st, Musk already made over 200 times the cap on Social Security and Medicare taxes.
