Both our terms & conditions and the DPA have been updated to reflect the new legal requirements of the GDPR. They comprise mutual promises requiring both you and Codewise to handle personal information in a lawful manner that complies with the GDPR. The aim of the End User Privacy Policy is to provide you and your end users with comprehensive information about the use of their personal data and cookies technology in connection with Codewise services. In terms of GDPR requirements, we expect our customers to warrant the necessary level of privacy and data security standards. In this respect, we require our customers to: - Determine the lawful basis for processing personal data that falls under the new regulation. In particular, you should verify whether the GDPR requires you to obtain visitors’ consent or whether there is another legal basis for such processing of data; - Obtain any necessary end users’ consent if it is necessary to meet the legal requirements for both the processing of personal data and the use of cookies technology in connection with use of our services; - Update all privacy notices.
