This year, in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), we launched the AfricaTech Awards, a pan-African initiative that recognizes and supports emerging start-ups with great impact potential across Africa. Over 300 startups applied for the Awards under one of the three main categories - climate tech, health tech, and fintech - and this week, we announced [the top 45 start-ups]( that will advance to the next stage of the selection.
