Exciting updates are coming to Bookshelf. VitalSource Bookshelf will soon begin rolling out a newly redesigned reader experience. • What’s changing? We’re releasing the following new study features in a clean, distraction-less design: integrated search, improved table of contents navigation, a new dedicated workbook, and margin note-taking. A few features will no longer be available, or have evolved, as part of the enhancements. Assignments and library filters/collections will no longer be available. Review Mode will be part of Margin Notes, and Figures will now be part of Search. • What do users need to do? There is no work required by instructors. Bookshelf changes will automatically take effect when you are rolled onto the new platform. We will automatically update your reader, preserving any notes, highlights, bookmarks, and flashcards. Please review the full transition guide [here](. • What’s the timeline? Bookshelf will roll out this update systematically across apps and online sites beginning now and continuing through August. • Any steps for troubleshooting? Once you have access to the new reader, our support team is here for you and your students 24/7 should you have any technical difficulties.  [Learn More](  With new features and a modern design, Bookshelf’s latest upgrades put learners first. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
