More danger in Montana

Anti-Equality bills are STILL being pushed through the state legislature [LGBTQ+ Victory Fund logo]( Friend, a lot has happened in the past three weeks affecting LGBTQ+ rights in Montana. Here’s what’s been going on: - Montana state Representative and former Victory Fund Spotlight candidate Zooey Zephyr was censured for defending gender-affirming healthcare for trans youth. She was removed from the House floor (she was working in the hallway) and silenced for her commitment to defending trans youth in Montana; - This ban on gender-affirming care for trans minors was signed into law by Governor and bigot Greg Gianforte – against the pleas of his own non-binary child; - A lawsuit was then filed against the ban on gender-affirming care, challenging the ban on the basis of privacy, dignity and the right to seek medical care, according to The Advocate; - More anti-LGBTQ bills, including a drag ban and LGBTQ+ erasure bills, are sitting on Gianforte’s desk waiting to be signed into law.
