Trump rallies have had some drama lately. Surprising, right? At a campaign event in Pennsylvania this weekend, the Republican nominee for president went after the New York Times, calling the publication “the enemy of the people” and baselessly proclaiming that the paper of record “tells false stories” about him. Minutes after that proclamation, [writes]( Katie Herchenroeder, a man at the rally stormed the media section and attempted to climb up the enclosed area before law enforcement tasered him. Meanwhile, the list of musical artists that want nothing to do with the ex-president at rallies or elsewhere keeps getting longer, [writes]( Bess Levin. The same day Swedish musical act ABBA demanded that the ex-president stop using its music, White Stripes frontman Jack White wrote on Instagram, “Don’t even think about using my music you fascists.” In other news, Ali Abbasi, director of the Donald Trump biopic The Apprentice, [said he thinks]( “Mr. Trump, at the end of the day, is a very smart person” who “would appreciate a lot of the nuances” in his film. (Earlier this year, Trump’s campaign threatened legal action, attempting to shut the movie down.) Plus, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson [told]( CBS’s Norah O’Donnell that she was “as prepared as anyone can be,” when asked if she was prepared that this election could end up before the Supreme Court.
