Kamala’s Climb • The Media Is So Back • Vance’s Dance [View in your browser]( | [Update your preferences](newsletter=vf) [Vanity Fair Hive logo image]( Elizabeth Warren Says the Supreme Court Is “Actively Undermining” Democracy Good Monday morning. President Joe Biden is expected to deliver a widely anticipated proposal for Supreme Court reform today, culminating a yearslong effort by Democrats to bring more transparency and accountability to the scandal-scarred high court. One Democrat among them, [notes]( Katie Herchenroeder, is Senator Elizabeth Warren, who declared yesterday that the court is “actively undermining” democracy, and called for commonsense reforms like term limits and an enforceable code of ethics. Elsewhere, Herchenroeder also [caught up]( with the national fracas surrounding Donald Trump’s running mate, J.D. Vance, who has spent days saving face amid recently-unearthed comments in which he called Kamala Harris a “childless cat lady.” The coming week is almost sure to bring more Vance-related drama. So in the meantime, it might be wise to revisit Eric Lutz’s [blistering critique]( of the Ohio senator, who Lutz observed was giving Republicans buyer’s remorse last week. Thanks for reading.
