It is no more news that innovation is a major key to African stability and growth. With the number of startups contributing to the economic stability of the continent from innovative ideas, Africa is creating a clear path future, and whether slow-paced or fast, the ship has sailed.Â
One factor that could have slowed the growth is the recent threat of climate change, but it is impressive to see that Africa is standing up to the challenge, innovation being at the forefront of the fight.
There are companies in Africa that recognize the problem of climate change and thought of innovative ways to turn the problem into revenue generating industry while ensuring environmental sustainability. There is the waste management sector, and also the energy sector trying to cut carbon emissions. On another hand are the healthcare sector and moves to catch up with the rest of the world, like the syringe production company in Nigeria.
