Grofers, Dailyhunt pocket big funding cheques; Yogi Sriram on L&T's digitisation drive

Several media reports suggest that the round nudges [Grofers]( closer to the unicorn club, the common term for startups valued at $1 billion or more. The latest infusion comes just in time for the Gurugram based startup. Ecommerce majors [Walmart-Flipkart]( and Amazon are aggressively ramping up their grocery offerings and Grofers has a tough fight on its hands in the months ahead. In yet another high-profile funding development, local language content and news aggregator [Dailyhunt]( raised capital from Belgian investment firm Sofina. Dailyhunt, according to multiple media reports, is in the market to close a $100-150 million round from SoftBank.
