The USO is always there to support them, no matter where they go. As a nonprofit organization, your support helps us operate 275+ USO centers in 23 countries across 7 continents, which are visited 3.7 million times a year by troops and their families. “The support we’ll be getting from the USO in the field is going to be critical to our troops’ morale throughout the entirety of deployment,” said one Army logistics officer recently preparing for his unit’s deployment. In places we don’t have a brick-and-mortar USO center, we deliver for our troops through programs like USO2GO and Mobile USO. USO2GO delivers customizable kits filled with comforts troops would find at one of our centers: snacks, toiletries, gaming equipment and more. Since launching this program in 2008, we’ve delivered over 2,700 kits to troops in remote areas. [Image of service members holding USO boxes] Mobile USOs are fully equipped USO centers on wheels that serve troops in the U.S. when they respond to emergencies like hurricanes and wildfires. At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mobile USOs reached 35,180 service members via 61 events in 49 locations — providing much-needed support during a difficult time. [Image of service members by USO mobile]( Perhaps our best-known mode of delivery, the USO Care Package Program, harkens back to our early years when Americans packed boxes filled with reminders of home to boost troops’ morale during World War II. Now, we deliver approximately 200,000 care packages filled with essential supplies, snacks and reminders of home. From day one to discharge, from building USO centers to delivering care packages, every single thing the USO does to support America’s service members and their families is made possible by patriotic Americans like you.
