[] [U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service] The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) is announcing a new flexibility for BRS importation permits in APHIS eFile. We continue to act on stakeholder feedback seeking improvements in the APHIS BRS permit process. Today, we have implemented a new flexibility that allows permit holders to reuse import labels. This flexibility eliminates the need for permit holders to request additional labels if they have used all the import labels they received with their permit. This new flexibility will also save time and resources and help ensure permit holders have a more consistent customer experience when obtaining permits from APHIS BRS and Plant Protection and Quarantine. Please visit our [APHIS 2000 Permit Application and Compliance Reporting Job Aid]( to learn more about this new permitting flexibility and review the updated instructions that accompany import labels. Applicants can find this Job Aid and other APHIS eFile training resources on the APHIS website at: [USDA APHIS | APHIS eFile Training](. --------------------------------------------------------------- [Bookmark and Share]( Questions about APHIS programs and services? Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
