This is not an exaggeration. [USA for UNFPA]( Gazans now make up 80% of all people facing famine or catastrophic hunger worldwide, marking an unparalleled humanitarian crisis. UN human rights experts declare that every single person in Gaza is hungry, a quarter of the population are starving and struggling to find food and drinkable water, and famine is imminent. Pregnant women aren’t receiving adequate nutrition and healthcare, putting their lives at risk. And as all 335,000 children under the age of five are at high risk of severe malnutrition while the risk of famine conditions continues to increase, an entire generation is now in danger of suffering from stunting. Nowhere is safe in Gaza, and its people are deprived of water, food, fuel, medicine, and medical supplies. We’re not exaggerating when we say this is an unparalleled humanitarian crisis. Your emergency gifts represent a glimmer of hope in the form of humanitarian aid and lifesaving care as Gaza continues to suffer. [Your help is desperately needed. Please rush an emergency gift to deliver care and resources to the women and girls who need it most in Gaza and beyond.]( [MAKE AN EMERGENCY GIFT]( UNFPA deeply regrets the end of the humanitarian pause in Gaza. We condemn the violence in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank, including all sexual violence against women, and echo the UN Secretary-General’s call for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire and for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas. Thank you for not looking away. — USA for UNFPA [usaforunfpa.org]( | info@usaforunfpa.org | [Privacy Policy]( SENT BY USA FOR UNFPA: THE UN SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AGENCY What does UNFPA stand for?
