Women and girls are most vulnerable amidst the world’s largest refugee crises

[USA for UNFPA]( Last year, 114 million people were displaced by war, violence, and persecution according to the UN Refugee Agency. 8.6 million people in Sudan have been displaced after over a year of civil war. 6.1 million people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have been displaced due to ongoing violence. 1.7 million people in Gaza, 75% of its population, have been displaced since conflict erupted. Amidst the world’s largest refugee crises, women and girls are most vulnerable.
