I’m all in to stop JD Vance from becoming our next Vice President, and I’m so proud that our team here in Virginia is building a massive voter outreach program to mobilize Democrats in every corner of the Commonwealth. You are receiving this email because you've previously supported CommonGood and our mission. We are grateful for your support, but to opt-out of future emails, please click here: [unsubscribe]( Hi! I’m Tara, Tim Kaine’s Virginia Finance Director. This is me with my cats, Ada (named after computer science pioneer Ada Lovelace) and Nikola (named after inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla). Contrary to what JD Vance thinks, I’m actually not miserable! Nor do I think I deserve less of a voice in our democracy than any other American — unlike Vance. (Seriously — JD Vance has said in multiple recently resurfaced interviews that he thinks the Democratic Party is being run by “miserable childless cat ladies” and that people without kids have less of a stake in our country and should have less of a voice. Oh, and he thinks we should pay more taxes. Like, what?) At first glance, those comments are so absurd that they’re funny. But the thing is, he’s not joking. And when someone who’s in the running to be our nation’s next Vice President says stuff like this, we have to listen to what he’s really saying. Here’s my best attempt at a translation: Women have to be married and have kids to be happy and functioning members of our society. We should define who gets to vote based on their parental status. Cats are bad (??!!). Meanwhile, he’s also trying to take control of how people become parents in the first place, with positions that threaten to limit both IVF and birth control, not to mention other reproductive care. [If you’ve read this far and you agree that we can’t let JD Vance anywhere near the Vice Presidency, I hope you’ll consider chipping in a split donation between our campaign here in Virginia and CommonGood USA. We’re working around the clock to make sure VA’s 13 electoral votes go to Kamala Harris, not the Trump-Vance ticket — and that we can re-elect Tim Kaine to the U.S. Senate.]( [$25]( [$50]( [$100]( [Other]( Look, everyone is entitled to their own views. You don’t like cats? Fine! But what you don’t get to do — especially when you’re in the running to lead this country! — is tell the American people that their personal reproductive choices make them less a part of our democracy. That’s just BS. I’m all in to stop JD Vance from becoming our next Vice President, and I’m so proud that our team here in Virginia is building a massive voter outreach program to mobilize Democrats in every corner of the Commonwealth. [When we vote, we win — so if you can, please split a donation today to help us reach and turn out more voters!]( Thanks so much. -Tara Virginia Finance Director, Team Kaine P.S.
