Join our live chat with Kelly Cervantes, author of “Normal Broken: The Grief Companion for When It’s Time to Heal But You’re Not Sure You Want To” Hi all! I am thrilled to announce our next Upworthy Book Club pick: [“Normal Broken: The Grief Companion for When It’s Time to Heal But You’re Not Sure You Want To”]( by award-winning writer, speaker, and advocate Kelly Cervantes. After losing her daughter to epilepsy, Kelly Cervantes knows that grief is weird, non-linear, all-encompassing and unique to each person. “Normal Broken” was born out of a desire to meet people where they are in their grief journeys, with no pressure to “think positively” or “move on.” It truly is a companion, offering stand-alone chapters that can be read in any order, such as: - When you’re not sure if you want to heal - When your greatest fear is socializing - When you’re facing anniversaries and other meaningful dates - When you’re ready to be okay Kelly shares stories from her own ongoing journey, advice she wishes someone had given her, and simple exercises to help you reflect on where you are in your process. If you have ever experienced grief or are currently grieving the loss of a loved one, “Normal Broken” has something for you. Save the date: [Tuesday, November 21st at 10am PT/1:00pm ET](. I'll be interviewing Kelly live on Upworthy's Facebook page. ■What: Upworthy Book Club Author Chat ■When: Tuesday, November 21st at 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET ■Where: [Facebook Live]( on [Upworthy's Facebook Page]( [Join the Facebook Group - Upworthy Book Club]( Be part of our exclusive Facebook Group community where you can continue chatting with other passionate book aficionados.
