[1]( [This horse can't stop running away to visit his friends at a dementia unit]( Panda the horse cannot seem to stay out of trouble, or the nearby dementia unit. Maija Vance, the owner of this mischievous palomino, posted a hilarious video to TikTok showing her riding Panda back homeâpresumably after being caught on the loose yet again. âHow many times has my horse got loose and run into the dementia unit in town and I had to ride him homeâ¦â the onscreen text reads. As Vanceâs disapproving face appears, viewers get the answer from the videoâs background song: two times. Pandaâs adorable antics garnered some lighthearted attention online. The comments section was filled with funny responses. A few joked that no one would believe the poor residents when they tried to tell the tale of a majestic horse galloping by. Another quipped, âHe really wants to be a therapy ponyâ¦let him follow his dreams!â [Watch the video](
[2]( [Trevor Noah announces he is leaving 'The Daily Show' in personal message to fans]( Soon, "The Daily Show" will have a new face with a different style of delivering the news in a way that takes a bit of the sting away. Comedian Trevor Noah delivered some unexpected news to his live studio audience, and I'm sure I'm not the only one having some big feelings about it. Noah announced that he will be leaving "The Daily Show" in pursuit of other things, including doing more standup. When Noah first sat behind the familiar "Daily Show" desk, he had the blessing of the iconic host before him, Jon Stewart, who had hosted the show for more than a decade. "Daily Show" watchers quickly grew to enjoy Noah's unique perspective as a South African immigrant able to point out things about America and American politics from the viewpoint of an outsider looking in. His takes were witty, funny and laced with stories from his home country where he learned to speak multiple African languages and didn't hesitate to slip into one of them every now and again. Noah has been truly a gift of comedy and culture to "The Daily Show." [Read the story]( Did a friend forward this to you? For the rest of us mere mortals, Thigh Societyâs slip shorts are our saving grace! [4]( [10 things that made us smile this week]( Holy molyâit's fall, y'all! As pumpkin spice swoops in and we start unpacking our cozy sweaters and cute boots, we can practically taste the seasonal change in the air. Fall is filled with so many small joysâthe fresh, crisp smell of apples, the beauty of the leaves as they shift from greens to yellows, oranges and reds, the way the world gets wrapped in a warm glow even as the air grows cooler. Part of what makes the beauty of fall unique is that it's fleeting. Mother Nature puts on a vibrant show as she sheds what no longer serves her, inviting us to revel in her purposeful self-destruction. It's a gorgeous example of not only embracing change, but celebrating it. We can find joy in every season when we look for it. That's the beauty of joyâit isn't limited to a certain time or place. It can be cultivated and harvested wherever we are, at any given time. [Read the story](
[5]( [One couple has already won Halloween by perfectly recreating iconic 'Stranger Things' scene]( Yep, we already have a winner for âCoolest Halloween Decorâ this year, and this oneâs a doozy. Dave and Aubrey, a âhorror prop making familyâ in Chicago, have left horror fans stunned with their hyperrealistic recreation of arguably THE most iconic scene from season 4 of Netflixâs âStranger Things.â If you havenât seen it (um, where have you been?), the seasonâs main monster antagonist, Vecna, traps Max and other characters in the alternate dimension of the Upside Down, and just before they meet their doom, these characters begin to float midair in the human world. Luckily (spoiler alert) our heroes are able to figure out how to save Max before itâs too late, by playing âRunning Up That Hillâ by Kate Bushâher favorite song. Dave and Aubrey somehow managed to make their own life-size replica of Sadie Sinkâs character that, no joke, looks like itâs levitating using nothing but some kind of dark magic.
