Today, I wanted to share more about my journey to becoming Georgia’s Governor. ([At the end of this email, I’m going to ask you to consider donating to help support my fight for hardworking Americans. If you’re ready to chip in now, you can do so here.]() My roots run deep in the Peach State. I’m an Athens native and proud University of Georgia alum. After earning my degree, I started my first small business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel. [Governor Kemp walking in field](Those early days taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and chasing the American Dream – and that experience has driven my mission to put hardworking Americans first. Thanks to supporters like you, I was honored to be elected as Georgia's 83rd governor. [Governor Kemp waving]( [SUPPORT GOVERNOR KEMP TODAY]( Since taking office five year ago, I haven’t stopped: We’ve broken economic records with jobs and investment coming to every corner of the state. We’ve brought Georgia's unemployment rate to its LOWEST point in state history. We’ve been named the NUMBER ONE State for Business. We’ve cracked down on violent crimes and supported law enforcement. We’ve delivered over $5 BILLION in tax relief to help hardworking Georgians fight back against Joe Biden’s inflation. We’ve protected both lives and livelihoods after being the first state in the country to re-open during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve given teachers HISTORIC pay raises, and ensured our education system puts parents and students first. And over the last 40 days, we’ve signed bills that invest in a safer and stronger future for all Georgians. [On the final day of bill signings, Kemp approves $36.1 billion state budget]( But, we aren’t stopping there. [We have a critical marker ahead of us next week, and I need your help to keep it up.]( TODAY: We need to raise another $6,476 by MIDNIGHT to stay on track for our May fundraising goal. [DONATE NOW!]( If we can stay on track with our fundraising goals, my team will have the support to share our wins with voters across the state — and we’ll also have the resources to grow our Republican majorities in the General Assembly. [There’s no time to waste. Can you pitch in just $10, or whatever you can, before midnight?]( [DONATE $10]( Thank you for your support, Brian Kemp [PITCH IN]( Paid for by Georgians First Leadership Committee Inc.
