Today, I wanted to share more about my journey to becoming Georgia’s Governor. After earning my degree, I started my first small business with nothing but a pickup truck and a shovel. Thanks to supporters like you, I was honored to be elected as Georgia's 83rd governor. We’ve brought Georgia's unemployment rate to its LOWEST point in state history. We’ve been named the NUMBER ONE State for Business. We’ve cracked down on violent crimes and supported law enforcement. We’ve delivered over $5 BILLION in tax relief to help hardworking Georgians fight back against Joe Biden’s inflation. We’ve protected both lives and livelihoods after being the first state in the country to re-open during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve given teachers HISTORIC pay raises, and ensured our education system puts parents and students first. And over the last 40 days, we’ve signed bills that invest in a safer and stronger future for all Georgians.
