Look no further! [UNHCR The UN refugee Agency]( [Donate now]( Dear {NAME}, We all need some good news from time to time, so let us share some of our favourite stories of the month with you now. We’ve travelling round the world in this month’s update: with stories from Lebanon, Finland (via Libya) and even the Rio De Janeiro carnival! We’ll also give you a quick update on some of situations we’re responding to that you might not have seen in the news. Zuzan Mostafa is a Syrian refugee who fled her home in 2012. Once in the safety of Jordan, she discovered she could turn almost anything old and worn into something beautiful, helping her family earn money and rebuild their lives in the process. [See more of her beautiful creations →]( This year’s world-famous Rio De Janeiro carnival included 20 special performers. Refugees from Syria, Venezuela, Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were selected to dance with the Salgueiro samba school to promote integration of refugees into the country. [Check out the costumes →]( Sisters Antonia and Natasha fled Ukraine together and arrived in Slovakia without a clue what to do next. But, with the help of UNHCR, they soon had a place to stay and hope for the future. Antonia said: “Thank goodness we have each other.” [Read their story now →]( We are becoming increasingly concerned about the situations in both Cameroon and Uganda. In Cameroon, water scarcity has led to deadly clashes, and has forced 100,000 to flee their homes and seek safety. While in Uganda, thousands of refugees have arrived in the country so far this year following violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and sporadic clashes in South Sudan.
