Will you join us {NAME}? [UNHCR The UN refugee Agency]( [Donate now]( Image © Ritzau Scanpix Dear {NAME} It's almost Giving Tuesday! On the 1st of December the global generosity movement kicks off. People all over the world are coming together to support the causes they care about most. This winter, join us to help refugees stay safe, protect them from COVID-19 and the bitter cold. Your donations will save lives and support some of the world’s most vulnerable people. Giving Tuesday is your chance to [spread a little kindness]( and help transform the lives of people like Hani. Hani lived near Damascus, Syria, until his home was destroyed by missiles and he was locked up and tortured by extremists. He braved snipers and dangerous terrain to be reunited with his family in the safety of Jordan. They then spent five years in Jordan, with nothing but a tent to protect them from the blistering heat and bitter cold. Now – thanks to UNHCR – Hani, his wife Ameh and their three children not only have a proper home, but they’ve been welcomed into a new community in the UK. With access to work, schools and new friends, the family is thriving and they have high hopes for the future. We’d like to give every refugee the chance of a new life, but we need your help. [Please donate to UNHCR today]( so that we can continue protecting refugees, providing shelter and helping people to rebuild their families. [Give generously to refugees ]( With your support, we can help people find warm, safe houses, friendly communities and happiness – whatever they’ve been through. Join us for Giving Tuesday by [making a donation]( to help more families like Hani to find a place to call home. Thank you, Breno Valentini UNHCR International Supporter Care P.S. Please share [Hani’s story]( with your friends and family to spread some warmth and kindness this Giving Tuesday!
