Hello {NAME}, My name is Rickey Cole. I’m the former Chairman of the Mississippi Democratic Party, currently serving as the Chairman of Ty’s campaign for the U.S. Senate. I’m reaching out today to make sure you saw our team’s email yesterday regarding our campaign’s massive voter outreach efforts that have been highlighted in The Washington Post. I’m including that email below in case you missed it in your inbox, but [if you’re short on time you can go ahead and make a contribution to support Ty here.]( Before you read on, though, I want to share why I felt so strongly about reaching out to you personally today. I’ve been a part of dozens of campaigns in Mississippi. I’ve seen losses and wins, and the folks who worked behind the scenes to keep things moving along. The one thing that doesn’t change is that campaigns that reach voters and get folks to the ballot box win. Ty understands that principle. He is passionate about meeting folks in their communities and learning what their families discuss around the supper table so he can truly represent them in the U.S. Senate. And I know that if we rally around him, Ty can win this election in November. Folks tend to count Democrats in Mississippi out, but our Democratic candidate for governor came within a stone’s throw of victory just last year. We’re laying the groundwork to change that story this year, and every bit counts. Today’s the best day to join our efforts. Thank you for reading, and thank you for your support. – Rickey Cole – Begin Forwarded Message – {NAME}, The Washington Post published [an article]( this morning that discusses our campaign, and the critical work we’re doing to engage with voters in every single part of Mississippi. We’ve put over 70,000 miles on our campaign car, already visiting 67 out of Mississippi’s 82 counties! Everywhere we go, Ty is meeting with people and listening to their concerns. He’s hearing what matters most to them, and sharing how he aims to address their concerns in the U.S. Senate. At the end of the day, we know our opponent has millions of dollars in his warchest that he can – and will – use to try to stay in office for another six years. But what ultimately decides this election are the ballots cast on Election Day. That’s why we’re not taking a single vote for granted. We’re working every day to register new voters, talk with folks about why it’s so important to get to the polls this year, and how we can win if we all show up in November. So – will you work with us? [Chip in $10, $20, or any other amount so we can continue traveling across Mississippi spreading the word about our campaign to elect Ty to the U.S. Senate:](

When we vote, we win. Thank you for helping us spread the word about this campaign! – Team Pinkins --------------------------------------------------------------- The son of a tractor driver, Ty doesn’t come from a wealthy family. He was born and raised in the small town of Rolling Fork, and is a proud son of the Mississippi Delta. Frustrated by the lack of action from lawmakers on the issues facing people in Mississippi–and believing that the hard-working voters of Mississippi deserve much better–Ty Pinkins decided to run for office: the United States Senate in 2024.
