As we embrace the holiday spirit, we want to give a special shoutout to our dedicated animal care teams. Dear {NAME} family, A very Merry Christmas and happy holidays from all your pals at Tanganyika! We're wishing you a day filled with love, laughter and fun with your tribe. As we embrace the holiday spirit, we want to give a special shoutout to our dedicated animal care teams. These unsung heroes work tirelessly, every single day of the year, to ensure the well-being of the rare and endangered species that call Tanganyika home – even on Christmas Day. Spending the holidays apart from your human family can be tough, but our care team fully embraces their responsibility. Cassie J., one of our Carnivore Keepers, shared her motivation, "Knowing that the animals depend on me personally motivates me to come out during the holidays." Kaitlyn W., another dedicated keeper, draws parallels between caring for her animal family and her human one, stating, "As a mom, I know firsthand that caring for a living being never stops, whether that be if you are sick or on the holidays." During this festive time, the animals and keepers find joy in celebrating together. The care team plays Christmas music while cleaning the habitats in the morning, getting into the holiday spirit. Karen T., the primate supervisor, shared that Christmas is extra special for her team, as it marks the birthday of Gico, our female siamang. But the care team doesn't stop there. They go above and beyond by creating special holiday-themed enrichment activities for the animals, like donated Christmas trees and wrapped cardboard boxes for the carnivores to tear open. Karen shares, "On Christmas, we deliver all of our animals' diets in boxes - it's so much fun to watch them uncover their food!" Today, and every day, we express our gratitude for the unwavering commitment of our care team to the animals entrusted to their stewardship. We wish you and yours a warm and WILD holiday season! Looking forward to seeing you at the park soon, Matt Fouts Director Tanganyika Wildlife Park [Season Pass Sale]( || [Winter Animal Experiences]( || [Winter Break Day Camps]( [unsubscribe](
