Hey there {NAME} Family, We are humbled, thrilled, and dancing with joy to announce to you the newes

Hey there {NAME} Family, We are humbled, thrilled, and dancing with joy to announce to you the newest addition to our family: MarJon—a healthy and strong Indian Rhino Calf! After 462 days of pregnancy, Indian Rhino Monica has given birth to her new calf, Marjon. 🥰🎉🥳 Born to mom, Monica—the first rhino to be born through artificial insemination—and dad, Stacks, who also resides with us, the calf was conceived naturally and arrived at 9:29 pm on February 16th. Within just a few hours of birth, Marjon, weighing in at approximately 80 to 90 pounds, was up and nursing. 🦏🍼🦏🍼🦏🍼 MarJon is named after long supporters of Mary and Jon Sendall, who have been instrumental in our success over the years. Mama Monica is a new mother but she proved her mama instincts were natural. She acts like a pro! She carefully cleaned MarJon off throughout the night, and has been bonding and napping together with it ever since. Both mom and newborn are showing to healthy, happy and great. This day has finally come!! And we are SO eager to share with you how MarJon grows and develops in the coming weeks and months. "This is an incredible moment for the entire Tanganyika Family," says Jim Fouts, owner of Tanganyika Wildlife Park. "This is why we do what we do, preserving species who are on the brink of extinction. We are so proud of Monica and her calf and are excited to share this special moment with the community." Our keepers have been working tirelessly (trust me, I've seen them day to day—tirelessly, indeed) to ensure that Monica and her calf receive the best care. "We are overjoyed to see Monica and her calf doing so well," says Sierra, one of Monica's keepers. "Monica has been doing great as a first-time mom, except the couple of times she's used the calf as her pillow. But in all seriousness, it's amazing to watch them bond, and we can't wait to see MarJon grow and explore the world." Before Marjon's birth, in early February, we hosted a baby shower for Monica that a few of you were able to join us for! Through this, we saw the amazing community outpouring of support through Monica's baby registry. We are committed to preserving and protecting [endangered species like Indian Rhinos](. The successful birth of MarJon, the first Indian Rhino born in Kansas, is a testament to our staff's dedication and hard work. We invite everyone to celebrate this joyous occasion and support our ongoing efforts to protect, conserve, and rehabilitate rare and endangered species. Want your chance to see baby MarJon in person? Oh, you haven't forgotten... have you?! 😳 🕺 Our SPRING SALE is ALMOST HERE! 💃 March is great for two things: Spring cleaning. And Spring Sale-ing! Starting March 1st, you have two weeks to purchase your Season Passes... and this year... at Throwback Prices. Can we say... "Heeeee-eeelloooo MarJon, we're coming to see you ALL the time."
