There's only one way to find out... Hey {NAME} family, What’s your guess about the height of a tiger? Well, rather than giving away the answer, why not witness it firsthand? Here’s how you can experience the awe-inspiring sight of a tiger standing on its hind legs during your visit to Tanganyika! The 2024 season is in full swing here at Tanganyika, and it’s been great to see so many familiar faces at the park. This also means that animal demos are back! This is your opportunity to get up close and personal with some of our animal stars, observe them in action, and gain insights from their dedicated caretakers. Here’s the Spring Schedule: - 10:30 AM: Bird Demo - Dance with Domingo the Hyacinth Macaw or witness Balthazar the Eagle Owl take flight! - 12:00 PM: Tiger Demo - Meet Grayson, our laid-back white tiger, or Sienna, the energetic Bengal tiger. - 1:30 PM: Zebra or Anteater Demo - Meet Amara the anteater (whose favorite pastime is resembling a log) or our herd of Zebras - 2:30 PM: Monkey Demo - Depending on the day, observe the DeBrazza’s troop or Colobus Family enjoying enrichment activities, or perhaps witness Demitri the Mandrill participating in a training session. And the best part? [Demonstrations are FREE with every admission!]( At Tanganyika, animal training plays a crucial role in our commitment to caring for our animals. Supervisor Cadence shares “I like to look at training in the holistic sense that every time we are training our animals there is a purpose to make their whole life better.” Training not only gives us the chance to enrich our animals lives, but it helps us bring YOU close enough to care. Looking to take your experience to the next level? Explore our Wildly Different Experiences! Immerse yourself in unforgettable encounters with incredible wildlife while supporting the preservation of rare and endangered species.
