Hello, I think we can all relate to feeling alone. Lately, existing has felt heavier, and believing

Hello, I think we can all relate to feeling alone. Lately, existing has felt heavier, and believing things will get better has felt harder. But in the 17 years of doing this work, we’ve learned just how much power hope can have in fueling change. How a simple message found at just the right time can carry you through to tomorrow. How a community of strangers believing your story is important can make you feel seen. How a package arriving at your door with a message of encouragement becomes an essential reminder on your hardest days. These moments may feel small, but they are the glimmers of hope that help us hold on. I wanted to share with you some of these glimmers: “Your website, blog, and podcast, offered me something that I desperately needed: hope. During my loneliest and darkest times, your encouragement kept me alive.”“I came across TWLOHA in 2006 when I was hitting bottom with alcohol addiction. I’ve been sober since then. And every year I make a donation or purchase from the Online Store to commemorate my milestone. I’m glad TWLOHA exists.”“I’ve been a teacher for 15 years and nobody was talking about mental health. Between the Bells not only saves lives but changes them just by the conversations we are able to have through this program.” “Thank you TWLOHA, the Treatment & Recovery Scholarship has been my fuel to keep living and fighting for hope.” We’re going to keep showing up. We’ll keep breaking the silence and challenging the stigma around mental health. We’ll keep encouraging people to ask for help. We’ll keep sharing important resources. We’ll keep having the hard conversations. But we need your help to sustain this work. We have programs that help support and educate high school students, workplaces, and communities. We have a Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Program that still needs to be fully funded, and operational costs to cover to keep this whole movement going. Every gift helps shift a story from despair to hope, from isolation to community. As we look ahead to 2024, we invite you to be a part of this movement by making a gift today at . And thanks to an anonymous donor, your impact is doubled today—up to $20,000! Thank you for believing in hope. Thank you for believing that healing + recovery are possible. Your support keeps us going. With Hope, Lindsay Kolsch Co-Executive Director You received this email from TWLOHA. If you would like to unsubscribe, [click here](.
