Things We're Excited About.   Suicide Prevention Trainings. Did you know we are hosting Suicide Prevention Trainings this July? For just $20, you’ll walk away from the training feeling more confident and prepared in a moment of crisis. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. [LEARN MORE](   June has been really special. As we round out this month, we’re reflecting on how special this community really is. We saw you show up for each other. Celebrating Pride is important. We know Pride matters. And while it’s a month of celebration it also holds so much hurt. This community is a safe space for you. We need you here. We need YOU—your true, authentic self. We need all of your uniqueness, all of your joy, and all of your beauty. We need you just as you are because it is more than enough. Thank you for being here. The work we do wouldn’t be possible without all the LGBTQ+ people who fought for Pride. Their resistance has changed lives. It has saved lives. We must keep it moving forward. [READ MORE](   Getting ready for September. As we near the start of a very important campaign (for our team and community) in September (Suicide Prevention Month), we’re thinking about how we can create the utmost awareness around prevention initiatives and resources that keep people alive. If someone is quietly struggling we want to get a message of hope and accessible crisis resources in front of them as seamlessly as possible. So, as we gear up, we’ll be sharing ways for you to get involved in our biggest suicide prevention campaign yet. Your voice + presence will be needed.   [Bring Hope Home]( [Bring hope home.]( Stories of Hope.   [Deconstructing Me]( By Cody Clendenen Healing from religious trauma and relearning who you are. We’ve seen people go from the belief that hope is a lie, that their pain doesn’t matter, and that help can’t exist for them, to the belief that there is always the possibility of better days ahead. Believing that leaning on others is not a weakness but, in fact, a strength. No matter what you’re facing, you deserve to be connected to help. Our FIND HELP Tool exists to make connecting to affordable resources easier. This includes a variety of mental health resources and support, along with things like housing, financial assistance, food, transportation, and more.
