News and updates... Jambo {NAME}! I just had an unexpected conversation with The Council (channeled by the extraordinary Sara Landon), as part of a future project, in which I asked some pretty wild questions, like, “Might it be possible to zone out of time and space, say, at the beginning of a 30-minute run, and, in the next instant, zone back in at the end of that run?” I was curious about the possibilities for avoiding anything unpleasant, tedious, painful, scary, challenging, or the like. Their answer was “Yes…” with a few logistical comments! They then “dropped the mic,” ending their answer with a slow, “...if that is what you really want to do.” Meaning, “...if you really want to forgo the run.” At once, I saw the equation in a totally new light, which was clearly their intention. I was swept away with a shock of appreciation, “No! No! No! I do not want miss one second of any part of my life!” Tedious? Are you kidding?! Suddenly, I felt nostalgia for my runs. How blessed am I to have such an indulgence? Feet plying the sidewalk like a metronome, powering through miles, sweat running down my face, balancing myself in the sun, wind, and air. Clouds drifting overhead. Birds circling. Trees bowing. The occasional lizard or snake crossing my path. What was I thinking about?! And, for that matter, bring on the unpleasant, painful, scary, and challenging, baby. I’m here for you, as I know you’re here for me. Missing out on these would mean missing out on their gifts – the cultivation of patience, empathy, courage, appreciation, and thereby the deepening of my love for everything. I’m still catching-up with the implications, as I wonder what else I’ve undervalued in the romance of being me? What else have I thought I’d be better without? Which gifts have I yet to unwrap in this fleeting incarnation as Mike…  As I count my blessings, I’m wishing for your own revelations in the romance of being {NAME}! P.S. Serendipitously, {NAME}, I got to enthusiastically share all of this, in greater detail, with my [Infinite Possibilities Members]( at our latest, weekly, Mini-Manifesting Workshop.
