New year musings... Jambo and Happy New Year, {NAME}! All dreams have built-in challenges ?and all

New year musings... Jambo and Happy New Year, {NAME}! All dreams have built-in challenges and all challenges have built-in dreams. The Universe “Everyone’s dealing with something.” So said my neighbor, as we caught up over the holidays. The implication was Covid-19. But even before 2020, everyone was still dealing with something. What a simple reminder that learning is part of every life. Stirred by an innate sense of incompletion, risk, or peril. But without these, there’d be no adventure. An awesome trade-off, once you see it. For example, while kindergarten is nearly impossible for a 5-year-old to wrap their mind around—balancing all the sharing, naps, and biting—master it, however, and you’re free. You even want to learn more. To continue growing. Riding two wheelers. Reading books. Holding hands. The teeth marks fade away, replaced with wisdom and an eagerness for living. So, even though you’re going through something right now, {NAME}, know that it’s not random. It’s the beginning of a dream come true that will make you more, take you higher, and fill your heart. And realize, you’re not alone. I feel it too. The trick is to keep going, stay engaged, and see the adventure. May 2021 feel a bit more like the “recess” that’s been there all along.
