[Here's an Incredible Offer, Donald: Resign](
William Rivers Pitt, Truthout:Â Something must be done, goes the hue and cry after Helsinki. The Republicans in Congress must find their spines and contain Donald Trump, or some Republican senators must defect to the Democrats and end the timorous tyranny of Mitch McConnell. Someone somehow must do something, and soon, because this cannot be allowed to continue. Trump can do something with the stroke of a pen: Resign and go home.

[Health Insurers Are Vacuuming Up Details About You — And It Could Raise Your Rates](
Marshall Allen, ProPublica:Â With little public scrutiny, the health insurance industry has joined forces with data brokers to vacuum up personal details about hundreds of millions of Americans. [Using Dogs as a Tool of Racist Repression](
Alex Moyle, Socialist Worker: Like many aspects of modern policing, police dogs have their historical roots in slavery and colonialism. Throughout the country, police departments cynically exploit people’s love of dogs to make the abuse of human beings by police K9 units and the abuse of the dogs themselves seem acceptable, obscuring a mass of brutality, corruption and abuse.

Many of the places where tipped workers are employed find ways to cut into paychecks, taking a percentage off the top. Some people still make good money, but many struggle.
