So welcome to the launch of the ECHO Awards 2017 – a chance for our readers to recognise and reward ordinary people's extraordinary achievements.
This is your chance to recognise the people who make Merseyside a fantastic place to live and work.
The awards are free to enter, all you need to do is tell us about the fantastic people doing great work in our region.
There are 9 award categories for you to pick from:

• Jaguar Land Rover Community Group Award
• Courage Award
• Community Personality
• Sports Team Award
• Sports Personality
• Charity Organisation Award
• Fundraising Award
• Arts & Performance Award
• Community Event of the Year
• Echo Outstanding Achievement Award
You can nominate as many people as you like for as many awards as you think they are suitable for.
